Concept Laboratory

The Concept Lab of the Robotics and AI (RAI) group at Luleå University is a state-of-the-art research facility outfitted with the latest technologies for advanced experimentation and validation of innovative concepts. Key features include a Vicon optical tracking camera system, which offers centimetre-level accuracy with a high refresh rate, and a high-throughput Wi-Fi 6 network for seamless connectivity.
The lab also houses a spacious 12x12x6-meter drone arena, fully enclosed with protective netting for maximum safety. Plastic blocks are available for constructing walls, mazes, or other structures, enabling versatile setups for diverse research scenarios. Additionally, a comprehensive camera recording system allows for in-depth analysis and review of experiments.
